The last pass over the damage schools: cold and fire get a mechanic of their own, a poison stops paying for the same defence twice, two ceilings move, and the climb is gentler at both ends.

Blood

  • A bleed is 70% of the pre-armour physical, every second for five seconds. Armour mitigates the blow, not the wound it leaves.
  • Aggravation stacks. A bleeding foe held by more than one other status ticks +35% per further status on top of the ×1.5 one status is worth, to ×3. Stagger and your own Wounds count, and the Aggravation affix widens the ×1.5 half past it.
  • Monsters keep the old numbers: 22% over three seconds, one dose of poison at a time, and impales that ride inside the next hit.

Venom

  • A poison proc lands three doses at 7% each — a dagger fills a ten-stack brew inside a three-second fight.
  • Its physical half answers armour and its chaos half answers chaos resistance, each exactly once.
  • A brew at its cap keeps its best dose: a stronger poison displaces the weakest.

Fire

  • Cinder and Combust. Every fire hit leaves a Cinder, two if the foe is already burning, and banks the fire it dealt; at four the next fire hit Combusts the bank at ×1.5, scaled by Ailment Effect and Fire Mastery.
  • An ignite burns hotter and shorter: 98% of the fire dealt per second for two seconds, up to eight stacks.
  • Seared. A burning monster hits 6% softer per ignite on it, to 45%.

Cold

  • Rime and Shatter. Every cold hit leaves a Rime, two if the foe is Chilled, and banks the cold it dealt; at ten the next cold hit Shatters the bank at ×1.5, scaled by Ailment Effect and Frost Mastery.
  • Frostbite. A chilled foe takes half a percent more cold per point of the chill's slow — about +15% at a full chill.

Physical

  • An impale releases as its own damage, past armour.

Ceilings

  • Armour reduction caps at 75%, where the resistances do.
  • Critical Damage rolls 13, so both halves of crit cost about the same in affixes. The 150% ceiling stays and your items keep their rolls.

The climb

  • The curve's pressure term is 0.17: monsters outpace your gear more slowly, so a run spends its fights advancing instead of farming.
  • The first fifty depths are eased. Monsters start at 60% of their health and damage and fade back to full by depth 50.
  • Past depth 2,000 the difficulty climbs on damage alone, to ×1.5. Health and armour are untouched: a deep fight kills you faster without becoming a longer one.
  • A lost fight pays 75% of what its drops would have salvaged for, or 4 Souls, whichever is more.

UniquesCodex

  • Every unique fires. Ten that did nothing — or nothing a suit could ever reach — now do what they say, and two execute thresholds no monster ever sat low enough to trigger are unconditional.
  • Every unique names its base. All 163, and your stored copies move to theirs in place, keeping depth, quality and their affixes.
  • A unique is equally likely inside its tier, wherever it lives. Only the tier separates them now.
  • Demon Appraiser's Loupe floors found quality at 85.
  • The Scythe declares Frenzy, like the claws it shares a family with, and a two-hander takes each stack as +9% damage instead of attack speed.

Prismatics

  • Only the prismatic that unlocks a look is shielded from salvage. Every copy after it wears the same look, so the rules judge it like any drop.

Bag and gear

  • Bag filters are nine shelves that open independently, with a search box and every affix on one of them.
  • A slot sheet row is compact — rank, name, base, score. A tap opens its stats in place, with Compare for the changes against the worn piece and More for the full card: Equip into this slot, Reforge, Lock and Salvage.
  • Every row carries its base, and the whole item takes a CARD chip.
  • An item card says what a weapon base does — the status it declares and the law it stacks under.
  • Status chips carry the aggravation percent, and there is a chip for the moving-target rule itself.

Looks

  • Seven new hero skins, four looks to eleven: Knife-Dancer, Sage, Bounty Hunter, Blood King, Vial Sentry, Void Augur and Cold-Flame Witch.
  • A new account is asked once which of four looks to wear, shown against the boss standing at depth 100. The three new starters — Knife-Dancer, Sage and Bounty Hunter — are free to everyone.

Codex

  • A new Combat page lays out how a fight resolves: the order a blow runs in, what each weapon base declares, the counters and the three banks, the two stack laws, the under-level rule and every ceiling. Generated from the game itself.
  • The in-game codex gained Rime & Shatter, Cinder & Combust, Seared, Venom's grip and Frostbite.

Interface

  • Buttons carry a command and nothing else. One gold primary to a screen, capitals for acts, one back, one prev/next, drawn − and +, and the same boxed ? everywhere.
  • Log in lands you in the game.
  • A finished purchase has a thank-you page that counts you back to the game.
  • The Rite keeps a 20-minute floor.
  • The sitemap tells the truth about when a page last changed.
