A major update: eight new zones in the Ante-Hell, the Soul economy, Guild progression, auto-run, Arena, Collection, and the Codex.
The Ante-Hell
- Depths 1,001–10,000 are nine zones now instead of one. Past the Vestibule come the Muster Yard, the Branding Pits, the Salt Quarry, the Gallery of Masks, the Nitre Cellars, the Mirror Halls, the Yoke Fields and the Acheron Strand — a new zone every 1,000 depths, each with twelve monsters and two bosses that alternate across its ten gates, its own wall on the map and its own palette.
- Nothing below 10,000 moves. The Vestibule ends at depth 2,000; if you were standing deeper, you are somewhere new.
Souls
- Salvage Souls are now flat by rarity, regardless of depth.
- Caches, targeted crafting and the Rite now scale with drop value.
- Existing Soul balances were recalculated under the new system.
- Founding a Guild now costs 500 Souls.
Guilds
- Increased Guild Soul income and daily Soul goals.
- Guild XP from loot ×3.
- Unique and prismatic loot now provide additional Guild XP.
- Offline fight XP is now correctly credited.
Auto-run
- Auto-run is now available to everyone.
- Base chain: 3 fights, 10 with Plus, +1 per 5 Guild levels.
- Runs continue server-side while the game is closed.
- Runs pause for the Rite or when unopened loot is full.
ArenaCodex
- Builds can now be locked to the Arena independently from dungeon gear.
- Arena gear depth reduced 10,000 → 1,000.
- Arena damage reduced to 20% and health increased 12×.
- Damage increases by 25% per round from Round 5.
- Arena History now shows duels only.
Collection & cards
- Medals removed. Lifetime counters remain.
- Six related honor titles retired.
- Prismatic visuals are now permanently unlocked once discovered.
- Leaderboard rows are now the player's card exactly as they dressed it, with the place and the board's number on a rail beside it. Gold, silver and bronze for the podium.
- Removed redundant rarity sigils from compact cards.
Codex & site
- Added the new Codex with zones, bosses, items, affixes, modifiers, titles, Arena and Guild information.
- Added dedicated Patch Notes, Privacy Policy and Terms pages.
- Updated the landing page to describe Hellruler as a loot RPG.
