How it drops
Ouroboros Loop is a rare unique for the ring slot, always on a Opal Band base. A rare unique, power grade 2 of 5: it falls 4.4× less often than a standard unique. Uniques fall from the Risings; a floor drop is one only once in 100,000. Inside each tier a grade 5 falls 8× less often than a grade 1. Only one copy of a unique can be worn at a time.
Stats
Uniques roll a fixed set of affixes chosen to serve the power; only the values roll, from the depth the item drops at and its quality. Below is Ouroboros Loop exactly as the game rolls it at quality 100, at three depths.
| Quality 100 | d 100 | d 1,000 | d 10,000 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Elemental Resistances (implicit) | +8% | +8% | +8% |
| Increased Damage over Time | +18% | +18% | +18% |
| Chance to Bleed | +12% | +12% | +12% |
| Chance to Ignite | +12% | +12% | +12% |
| Increased Shock Effect | +12% | +12% | +12% |
| Item score | 198 | 10,756 | 996,617 |
Percent affixes are fixed at a given quality; flat ones grow with depth. Quality runs 50–125% and multiplies every line.
Builds it belongs to
It lives in the Damage over time family of uniques, alongside Alchemist's Cord, Idol of the Tar Pits. Stacking uniques from one family is how a mechanic is pushed past what affixes alone allow.
